Complex partnered with Sephora on its first official venture into beauty-focused content, tailored specifically for BIPOC folks. The fresh program catered to their beauty and style questions, ensuring their unique needs were tended to and their culture authentically celebrated. The partnership featured behind-the-scenes magic with makeup artists, editors, and tastemakers through a 5-part video series and over 30 pieces of sponsored and custom editorial, all housed in a bespoke digital hub. The program garnered huge success gaining incredible traction, attention from industry publications like WWD, and extremely positive audience sentiment.
Contributions:
Directed the development and implementation of all artwork, encompassing editorial visuals, digital ads, video graphics, social assets and the overall program's look and feel.
Streamlined project details and roadmaps to serve as a source of truth for creative teams, ensuring consistency and alignment throughout the process.
