Muse 'til Midnight, LACMA's ultimate late-night summer party, unfolded with an eclectic musical lineup and captivating visual and auditory effects. The focus of the 2018 event was the exhibition "3D: Double Vision," marking the first North American survey of 3D objects and practices. Dublab as the partner curator went all out to infuse nightlife energy into the event, featuring live performances, DJ sets, and immersive visual and sound installations, celebrating the intriguing theme of altered perception and optics embodied by "3D: Double Vision."

Contributions:

  • Strategized creative direction and guest journey of 5 major zone throughout the museum. Led program curation including music lineup of 8 artists.

  • Managed full production from complex project planning and workback schedules, vendor negotiations, A/V, lighting, projection mapping, talent booking, staffing, run-of-shows.

  • Collaborated on marketing and promotional efforts providing focused feedback and direction.

Results:

  • Achieved the highest attendance in museum history with +1700 ticket sales/guests

  • Renewed partnership the following year
